Although Epicures is well known for its great cooking classes, it is fast becoming a Premier, Private Banquet & Conference Facility for events of all kinds. Epicures is an ideal facility for groups as small as 8, or as large as 50 or more. At Epicures, we pride ourselves on being as chameleon-like as possible! If you can dream it up, we’ll work with you to make it happen!

Epicures is conveniently located in the historic area of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and features a 1st floor dining area, 3 big screen TVs, comfortable lounging areas, and a Fabulous Gourmet Kitchen with state of the art cooking equipment including; an incredible stone fired pizza oven, and much more. On the second floor you will find a pool table, another large flat screen TV with surround sound, and a wet bar. And for outdoor barbeques; the cobblestone courtyard is a summertime hit with a fabulous infrared / gas barbeque grill and a wood-burning fire pit.

Whatever your purpose, our Private Events are Custom Designed to meet your needs. You choose your level of culinary entertainment or activity. At Epicures, we firmly believe that bringing people together over food and wine is a recipe for success. Whether your wish is to entertain VIP clients, friends, or family; to network within your industry or social club; to get out of the office for your next quarterly meeting; or to get your team working more as a "team", Epicures is the ultimate solution provider.

The use of our facilities for your banquet or event generally costs $90/hr for the Banquet room including the First Floor Kitchen and Bar Area; $50/hr for the second floor lounge including use of the wet bar, pool table, and the big screen TV with surround sound; $50/hr for the outside courtyard with outside bar and fire pit. Additional pricing is available upon request for other spaces such as the remaining outdoor areas, the kitchen, or the customer office and computer systems.

Banquets require an 18 person minimum and a 24 person maximum for sit down functions that require all quests to be seated in one room. We can also seat and serve an additional 16 people in our kitchen and bar area. There is an additional $5 charge per person for sit down table service as opposed to buffet style service. Our Food on the Move buffet style service can accommodate 45 downstairs in the combination of the Banquet room, First Floor Lounge and Bar/Reception area; an additional 10 upstairs and 30 in the outdoor courtyard can be accommodated. (Keep in mind that the use of the courtyard is limited by weather and season.) (A 18% gratuity will be automatically added to each banquet/business event.) A fee of $20/hr will be charged for all set-up and decorating work beyond one initial hour of normal set-up.

Private Cooking Sessions are also available and require an 8 person minimum. Sessions start at $50 per person and include a 4 to 5 course meal, beverages, coffee and personalized culinary instruction and recipes. Wine pairings can also be included for an additional fee. There are no facility rental fees with these sessions.

Host your team building event with Epicures. People in the business world talk about building the team or working as a team, but few understand how to create the experience that develops and promotes an effective team. At Epicures we understand that team building is more than a “buzz word” term but rather an important factor in the effectiveness of a well run organization. Productivity increases when people are working together as a team with a well defined set of desired outcomes. The team building experience at Epicures allows this concept to take shape. We can tailor an experience based on what the needs are of your business and the people that make it successful. And best of all, what could be a better way to finish the team building experience and reward your staff than with a delicious meal?

If requested; each group will be judged on their teamwork in the kitchen, the creativity of the dishes prepared, their final presentation, and of course the flavor! During the dessert portion of the meal our chef will share with the groups their ratings, and select a winning team.

The price per person ranges from $50.00-$65.00, plus facility rental charges for additional meeting time in our business center. The price per person includes the dishes that each team prepares along with a salad and dessert that has been prepared by the Epicures’ culinary staff. The event is approximately 3-4 hours in length. We have an 8 person minimum for the team building.

NEW THIS YEAR! - Survivor Crate!

Be one of the firsts to experience “Survivor” in the Epicures kitchen. Just as it is when stranded on a deserted island, this experience will require the participants to come up with fun and creative dishes using only what they have in their survivor crate (which includes their utensils and pans). Of course, there will be gold coins with which the teams can bargain with the Epicures’ staff for additional items; however, it is in the team’s best interest to not bargain too much gold away! Teams will have two hours to plan and prepare two dishes. The team can choose to spend the allotted time however they deem necessary. At the conclusion of this experience, the survivor participants will be able to relax and enjoy a great meal.

NEW THIS YEAR! - Market Basket!

One of Epicure’s most popular team building events is our Market Basket Challenge. Participants are divided into teams. Each team will receive a unique basket of ingredients that includes a protein. Each team is then sent to different areas of Epicures. All teams have access to cookbooks and are given 20 minutes to “brainstorm” and come up with a menu that includes a main course and a side or appetizer. All the ingredients in the basket must be used. Once the recipe ideation is complete then the fun begins in the kitchen. Teams have exactly 2 hours to turn their creative ideas on paper into culinary masterpieces. Groups will work together in Epicures’ beautiful commercial kitchen chopping, baking, sautéing, and grilling their items to produce a competitive end product. Once the dishes are prepared, each group then explains the concepts behind their culinary creations. Each team will have enough to share with the all the teams present.

NEW THIS YEAR! - Iron Chef Competition!

This competition centers on the “secret” ingredient. Just like the pros on television, teams will be presented with a secret ingredient that they must incorporate into both a main dish and a side dish or appetizer. They must be quick on their feet however to get the ingredients needed to create the perfect dishes. Once Teams are divided they will be given 3 minutes to fill their shopping crates with ingredients from the main table. After the 3 minute timer sounds, teams will have 20 minutes to sequester themselves and design two dishes, using the secret ingredient in both. Once the ideas are set in place and the twenty minutes are up the teams will race to our state of the art commercial kitchen and have 90 minutes to prepare and present their dish. Each team will have a presenting “chef” to talk about how each dish was created.

What is the minimum number of people for a function?

Can we bring our own food?
No. Because of our food service license, only food produced by Epicures’ employees and in the Epicures’ facility can be consumed at functions.

Do you have liquor?
Yes. We have a complete liquor license and can serve beer every day and wine and liquor Monday through Saturday.

Can we bring our own liquor?
No. Only liquor provided by Epicures can be consumed on the property.

Can we decorate the facility for our function?
Decorations are permitted; however, woodwork or drapes must not be marred or damaged in any way. Thumbtacks, nails, scotch tape, pins, etc., are NOT to be used. Absolutely no candles are allowed in the Banquet Facility. Scheduling for decorating must be made with Epicures, Inc. The Use of fog or smoke machines is prohibited.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed inside the facility at any time. Smoking is allowed outside on our courtyard only.

How much parking is available?
On site, we have 17 parking spaces. We also have 50 parking spaces available across the street at the strip center. Valet parking is also available for events.
